The case is made from black 7mm Astroboard, a lightweight but very strong polypropylene honeycomb material. The case is fitted with interlocking aluminium sections to the joint edges to give a splash proof seal. Edges are fitted with 30 mm aluminium angle. Zinc coated pressed steel ball corners and edge brackets increase strength and protection. The lids are secured to the case with two butterfly type catches on each. A recessed sprung handle is fitted to each side as shown. Internally the rack strip has been packed out to make it 19". External measurements are W600 x D690 (including lids) x H290mm. The middle rack section is 515mm from front of rack to the back edge. The lids are both 60mm deep.
The case is made from all brand new components but there may be the odd mark or scratch.
